This term, Year 3 pupils have had the amazing opportunity to experience a variety of Indian food delights. Some have tried if for the first time, whilst others were already familiar with the tastes.
After a prolific interaction between the pupils and the class teacher about what we already know about Indian dishes, we proceeded to taste and explore the real flavours of a vegetable ( potato and chickpea ) curry, rice and naan bread.
The pupils have been able to describe textures using words such as ‘ spicy’, ‘hot’ and sticky’, discuss about predominant colours, common ingredients and smell!
Food was absolutely delicious!
We are looking forward for our next Asian food experience!
