Stars of the Week 6th May 2022

After our successful production of “A Lion’s Tale” this week, all of Key Stage 1 are our stars of the week. They have worked so hard to remember all their lines, dances and songs and the staff are so proud at how well they performed for their grown-ups.

Daniel – for being significantly more confident in class. It has been wonderful to see you sharing your ideas with adults and the rest of the class – well done.

Kevin – for your amazing attitude to learning. You consistently share your ideas, listen to instructions and explain them to the rest of the class, take pride in your work, and work as a team with other children.

Muhsin- Excellent input into lessons and engagement, contributes and supports others. Muhsin has been super reliable when I was away, helping supply teachers to settle in and practically lead the classroom.

Sion- Excellent contribution towards our lessons and has also been a great support system for our supply teacher by explaining how things are done in our class and being a great support system in general.

William – Consistently putting good effort into all his subjects and is always very respectful and polite.

Hooria – For always putting her best into her work.  Hooria is also a very kind, thoughtful and considerate member of our class.

Arthur – for his perseverance and hard work during phonics, reading and English to develop his reading skills. Your effort has been extraordinarily.

Furqan – for reading the feedback in notebooks and trying to improve from the feedback. Your work is much clearer and organized now. Well done.

Nadira- always trying her best and being confident to ask for help when needed.

Shraavya- for settling in so well to year 5 learning and for beautiful presentation in your books all the time.

Ilja – For focusing on himself and his learning as well as being a kind and considerate pair in all activities.

Aitsaam – For settling well to the new routines on his new school. Wonderful to see your smile at the start of every day.

Tanush – For always working so hard and for his dedication to learning.

Chris – For being so helpful this week in the classroom not only to adults but to his classmates as well.

Charlie – for making more positive choices with his behaviour and asking more questions to extend his learning.

Maher – for the huge amounts of effort put into his writing tasks. He has a fantastic imagination which he uses to great effect.
