Stars of the Week 22nd September 2022


Max- For being a positive role model to other children in Conker class. He always has a great attitude to learning and is a super resetter. 

Michelle- for her persistence in phonics this week. She has worked hard to recall our sounds and write graphemes


George – for his positive attitude towards learning and always trying his hardest. 

Kate – for always following the school rules and being a role-model for the whole class. 


Marwa – For always trying her best with her learning and giving 100% effort. She doesn’t give up easily and is very persistent. Well done Marwa..


Mihira – For producing some lovely learning about The Little Red Hen. Mihira wrote a beautiful sentence about how the hen was feeling at the end of the story. Great job Mihira.


Skye – For constantly demonstrating pro-social behaviour and having a positive attitude towards learning. Such an amazing role model for all. 

Daniel – For having an ‘I can’ attitude towards work. Daniel is always ready and listening for the next instruction. Well done. 


Aleeza- who has recently joined Year 2 and has settled in so well in pear class. 

Khalil- always trying so hard and working on his independence. Khalil continues to persevere. 


Alea – for setting into Pine Class so well that it feels like you’ve been here all along. You are enthusiastic and persistent in all of your learning.

Lilly – for being a role model. You are always ready to learn and have been working so well with others and independently.


Diyana- for working incredibly hard on her place value work in maths. It has been wonderful to see you use all the resources available to identify your hundreds, tens and ones in numbers to 1000 more independently. 

Cason- for making great progress in your racing to English sessions with Mrs Bi and your Guided Reading with Mrs Humphrey. Seeing your confidence grow has been wonderful.


Anaya – For being a role model student for her behaviour, effort and focus in class.

Odin – For showing responsibility and persistence towards his learning.


Briana for working independently in Maths and attempting to complete challenging tasks all by herself.

Sion for participating in class activities with creativity and a great deal of enthusiasm. Also, he is always ready for learning and shows massive interest and curiosity.


Hamza – for his focus and perseverance in Maths these few weeks. His determination has been extraordinary.

Jayden – for his positive attitude towards his learning. He edited his work and accepted that sometimes work can be improved, Jayden has written a phenomenal narrative. Well done.


Rida- for doing the right thing all of the time and for working so hard on her biography in English.

Diamond- for always setting such high expectations of behaviour and for showing persistence in English.


Umair for demonstrating his understanding of relative clauses.

Daniel for persistently working hard and being  an active learner


Ana – for always showing kindness to others and being a curious and inquisitive learner.

Oli – for participating in class discussion maturely, and showing a good attitude to learning.


Lucas – for settling into life at Central Primary School and showcasing our school values in everything he does.

Szofi – for showing kindness to everyone in and around school.
