Preparing for the Winter Fair

Friends of Central, our PTA (parent teacher association), is organising a Winter Fair. The Winter Fair is another informal opportunity for our school community to get together.  The Winter Fair is also an opportunity for the PTA to fund raise for the school. In the past the PTA has then used this money to pay towards  Birthday books, play equipment, Guided Reading books and so many other things.

The Winter Fair takes place in the school halls that will be with different stalls. There are things for sale but also some fun activities for children to participate.
As we are preparing for the Winter Fair is this an opportunity for all the members of our school community to think if they could help organise this lovely event. There are lots of opportunities for parents and carers to participate, either by bringing something in to be sold, or actually helping set up and run the event on the day.
To collect raffle prices, we are organising one non-uniform day on the 29th November. On this non-uniform day, we are asking different year groups to contribute with a small prize towards our Winter Fair stalls.
EYFS and KS1: Jazzie Jars and Chocolate
KS2: Tombola prizes or “wrap a gift” contributions.
If you are able to  help in any way at the Winter Fair, please join one of the Friends of Central meetings or leave your details at the office, so we can be in touch with you.
The Friends of Central meetings will be every Wednesday at 3 pm.
Hope to see you all at our Winter Fair on the 5th December after school!
