Positivity through ‘Word Art’

This week, Year 2 were set the task to make positive words of support for the school community using items from around their homes.
We were really impressed to see how creative the children have been in designing their word art. We saw buttons, fabric, lego, crayons, feathers, ribbon and many more amazing ideas. The most popular words chosen were hope, light and safe. These are such important words to hold onto during these tricky times. It’s heartwarming that our pupils put so much thought and creativity to spread positivity to our community.
It was also really lovely to see some abstract Art also created to send out positive messages of #Hope and #Light. Art is a wonderful way to express yourself creatively and brighten up everyone’s day.
They certainly will help us all feel positive and hopeful for the days to come.
Well done Year 2 for your creativity, positivity and kindness!
