It has been a great half term for PE at Central Primary school with plenty of skills being learnt and games being played.
Year 1 have been working on their coordination; they have been developing their movement skills and throwing and catching, an incredibly important skill which they will continue to use throughout their lives.
Year 2 have been exploring different ways of travelling and balancing and creating sequences around this. Year 3 and year 4 have been working with skills 7 this half term. They have been able to play a variety of different sports and work on their team work.
Year 5 and 6 have been practicing the striking and fielding skills in cricket and rounder’s respectively. Now they have honed their skills, practice games have begun.
It’s wonderful to watch the oracy and sportsmanship develop within the classes as they work together to win. Well done Central!
