Orchard and Forest work

For several weeks now, children in Orchard and Forest Classes have been working extremely hard on their home learning.

The children have completed many exciting Maths tasks including investigating the capacity of different containers, weighing household items and organising their toys from shortest to longest.

The children have now read a range of fiction and non-fiction texts and wrote some excellent book reviews about their favourite book. In English, we have seen amazing alliteration in poems, superb story writing and incredible instructions.

We have been very impressed by everyone’s effort and all of the work we have seen is of a high standard! It has also been lovely to see the children participating in other activities to develop life skills, for example baking, planting seeds and helping with household chores as well as enjoying family time together. Many children in Forest Class have continued with our weekly board game club and Monopoly seems to be a firm favourite!

Well done to everyone in Orchard and Forest for your effort, resilience and enthusiasm. We are so very proud of you!
