Introducing Headteacher Ms Bentham

Dear Parents/Carers,

Despite the various communications that have been sent from Ms Paalanen and myself over the past few days I would like to write and formally introduce myself as the new headteacher at Central Primary School.

I am delighted to start working at Central Primary School however in these unusual times it might be a while before I get to meet you all in person.  I am an experienced headteacher with over 20 years in education and I have worked in a variety of primary schools, mainly in the London area.  I have a passion for Science education and my degree and master’s degree have focused on this.  As a headteacher and part of a leadership team I have led two schools from a good OFSTED rating to outstanding, which I am hugely proud of.

I will be in school at various times throughout the next few weeks so for those of you who are accessing learning on the school site you will see me on various gates at drop off and pick up.  For those of you who are not accessing the school site and would like to contact me then please contact the school office in the normal way and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I look forward to meeting you all when circumstances allow.  If in the meantime you do see me then please feel free to introduce yourself.  I have also written to the children which you can find a copy of in the google classroom in the next few days.

Please look after yourselves and get in touch if we can help or support you in any way.

Best wishes,

Katie Bentham
