Although I visited Central last term, and have met many of you, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you all and tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Mrs Wright and I am the new Deputy Headteacher at Central Primary. I have been in teaching for 19 years and wouldn’t do any other job in the world. I am very passionate about learning and teaching and believe education is key to improving the life chances of all children. I have been lucky enough to work with a variety of wonderful schools, families and children throughout my career and can already see that I am going to thoroughly enjoy being part of the Central team and community.
When I am not at school, I like to keep busy with my family and pets, but can also be found curled up with a good book. I read as many children’s books as I can and really enjoy hearing about what others are reading too.
I can genuinely say everyone has made me feel incredibly welcome during my first couple of weeks at Central which I am very grateful for. I am looking forward to meeting many more of you and being part of a community; where pupils, parents, staff and the wider community grow and learn together.
Mrs Wright
